Heading south from Dalwhinnie, there is a sign posted turn off to Balsporran Cottages B&B just under a mile south along the A9.
There is quite a large car park although rather bumpy and stony but plenty of space.
The nearest station is Dalwhinnie about a mile or so north of the location.
The nearest Amenities are probably in Dalwhinnie or further up to Newtonmore or Kingussie. There are quite a few nice chip shops in Kingussie and a Distillery in Dalwhinnie.
This is open moorland/mountains and is alongside
Balsporran cottages B&B.
You can cross over at a level crossing and follow the footpath to get a vantage point higher up or it is possible to photo/record direct from the car park.
