Road directions
Follow the A548 from Rhyl and head towards Pensarn. The road will cross over the railway at this location. Or from Abergele/Pensarn, take the road in the direction of Rhyl.
Parking
Parking is easy very near to the bridge on Morfa Avenue. If this is full, it would not be difficult to find alternatives.
Public transport
Rail travel to the location is not possible. However, a bus from Rhyl towards Abergele & Pensarn would - or from Abergele & Pensarn back towards Rhyl direction. There are many bus stops on this route and a polite word with the driver and they might drop you where you would need to be ie; where the road goes over the rail line.
Amenities
I did not see public toilets but there are many refreshment outlets/pubs in the local area.
Accommodation
The area is predominantly "caravan city" so there is the option to bring your own accommodation! There are B&Bs in Pensarn. Which would be a 15min bus ride.
Looking in the direction of Llandudno, west, the track has a long sweeping curve to your left and from the other side of the road, east, the track is straight but still a nice shot. The sun at evening looking towards Llandudno, is behind you. Looking eastwards at evening time, one would be looking into the sun but as you are elevated and looking down at the track I didn't have a problem. Videoing would be a problem from passing road traffic related noise.
