From the M11, junction 11. Head south on the A33 and turn right towards Mortimer and Grazeley at the traffic lights. Continue along this road for about 3 and a quater miles and you enter Mortimer Village and come to a mini roundabout. Turn left, over the little bridge, and the station car park is just on the right.
There is a small lay by with room for a couple of cars.
Mortimer has some shops, take aways and few pubs.
You can shoot in both directions, the C.I.S gives plenty of advance warning of when trains are coming.
To the north is a bridge which will require a zoom lens to get through this, which will also emphasise the curve entering the station area.
