Road directions
Located just off the bustling Cowick Street in Exeter's St Thomas area, which is signposted around Exeter.
Parking
Nothing dedicated to the station, there is a shopping centre near the station that may provide parking, albeit at a cost!
Public transport
Exeter has a great park and ride system, which is signposted from the major roads into the city, it runs to the city centre from where there are plenty of buses to St Thomas. Meanwhile the station has an hourly service to and from Exeter St Davids/Exmouth and Paignton which increases to half hourly at peak times.
Amenities
Nothing on the station itself, but plenty of pubs and takeaways on the adjacent Cowick Street, as well as a Pizza Hut just in front of the station.
Accommodation
Exeter has plenty of good quality accommodation for most budgets.
The best angle is looking north at down trains, for which the light is best in the early to mid afternoon, looking south from the down platform is a good view but you're likely to have areas of shadow from all positions if the sun is out, or there's a very tight shot looking south from the up platform. Video will be best towards the platform ends, you'll probably get noise from passengers otherwise.
