Just off the A41 Warwick Road so easy to access from Birmingham city centre and the M42, Junction 5
Parking
Plenty of parking available further down Wharfdale Road, or in other nearby streets, none in direct view of the location though.
Public transport
Mostly local trains to Tyseley station, but you can change at Birmingham Moor Street from Chiltern services. Buses also serve Tyseley, mostly operated by National Express West Midlands.
Amenities
Most decent facilities will be in Birmingham City Centre, a McDonalds is available on the Warwick Road, near Olton station.
The only shot available is looking to the south east, light is best in the late afternoon to early evening, in the summer months. A carriage washer can intrude at some angles, although it can be incorporated into pictures of trains coming off the Shirley line. For videos there would be some traffic noise, but probably nothing too excessive.
