Road directions
  • Follow the M40 to the Alcester Rd / A435.
  • Take exit 3 from the M42
  • Continue on the A435.
  • Drive to the B4100 into Birmingham follow signs to Birmingham Moor Street.
  • Parking
    There is a car park opposite the station.
    Public transport
    You can access this station by train directly from London or from places such as Dorridge, Worcester or Stratford-upon-Avon.
    Amenities
    There are toilets between platform 2 and 3, there is a 'Coffee Hut' by platform 2 as well.
    Accommodation
    The Birmingham Central Moor Street Travelodge is not far from the station, you can see it from the Station exit.
    Photographic notes
    You can take photo all day. But the station faces roughly east west so light will move round during the day. Locos tend to be on the country end of workings which will place them at the barrier end of the platforms.
