There is a car park opposite the station.
You can access this station by train directly from London or from places such as Dorridge, Worcester or Stratford-upon-Avon.
There are toilets between platform 2 and 3, there is a 'Coffee Hut' by platform 2 as well.
The Birmingham Central Moor Street Travelodge is not far from the station, you can see it from the Station exit.
You can take photo all day. But the station faces roughly east west so light will move round during the day. Locos tend to be on the country end of workings which will place them at the barrier end of the platforms.
