Road directions
The station is situated on a one-way system (Great Eastern Road) which is part of the Stratford one way system and is clearly signposted.
Parking
There is a car park opposite the station and clearly signposted.
Public transport
Greater Anglia operates a frequent service from Stratford to London Liverpool Street. They also operate services from Stratford which go to:
  • Shenfield and Southminster (Stopping Metro Service),
  • Southend, Braintree,
  • Colchester Town,
  • Clacton,
  • Walton,
  • Harwich Town,
  • Ipswich.
    London Overground operate a stopping service to Gospel Oak, Willesden Junction and Richmond.
    London underground Central Line Operate services to and from Hainault and Epping and to West Ruislip. DLR operate services to Lewisham from Stratford. And the Jubilee Line run services from Stratford to Stanmore. (Jubilee line extension).
    There is also a bus station next to the station.

    There is a cafe on the High Level platform, a coffee shop and some small Newsagents on the Low Level Platforms.

    There is an Express by Holiday inn about a mile from the station.

    Photographic notes
    The best place to photograph the freight trains and most interesting passenger stock is at the end of platforms 9 and 10. If you want to photograph some Metro Units (315's) the best place to do this is at the end of Platform 8.
    Stratford can be a noisy environment at times.
