Road directions
From the M74, Junction 14:
Take the second exit from the roundabout onto the A702. At the T junction turn left onto the B7076 signposted Crawford and Abington. After about one mile turn right onto an unclassified road signposted Crawford, continue through the village until you reach a small triangle of roads just before a left curve. Turn right here and cross the railway bridge turning left immediately after the bridge. This road leads down to a bridge over the river. Shortly after crossing the river bridge turn sharp left up a narrow uphill road. You will see a grass clearing after cresting the hill from which the many vantage points can be reached.
