Prestatyn is on the A548 and the station is well signposted.
There is a car park at the railway station also on street parking near the footbridge and crossing.
Well served by frequent trains and buses. The station is in the town centre.
There are plenty of shops on the main street and several pubs.
Plenty, given it is a holiday town. It can be busy during high season.
Light is best in the morning for trains towards Chester and for trains towards Holyhead from dinner time. Photos can be taken from the station which has an island platform so is better for eastbound trains in the afternoon. There is a footbridge to the east which gives good views of the semaphore signals. This is reached by walking from the station past the children's playground on the north side of the line. The foot-crossing to the west gives good shots of trains in either direction and is on a footpath leading again from the road on the north side of the line.
