Local busses are operated by
StagecoachThe station has toilets and a cafe. There are many other shops and restaurants in Chesterfield city centre itself.
The two platforms make photography easy, it is however, worth noting that most freight uses an avoiding line behind the station, although you can see the trains still, it does mean that the sun may shine in your camera. Videoing is fine too.
