The station is located on the A264 Tunbridge Wells to East Grinstead road.
There is a station car park accessed from the east side of the railway where the A264 passes under the line.
All trains on the line currently stop at Ashurst.
There are no amenities in the immediate area.
The light is generally best looking north for trains heading towards Uckfield. There is a footbridge mid-way along the platform. There is also a lane crossing a bridge just south of the station which would give good views of trains departing.
