The main A26 road from Tunbridge Wells to Uckfield and Brighton passes slightly south of the station, the station itself being accessed by an unclassified road.
There is a station car park.
Currently most trains on the line call at Eridge. Bus service 729 operated jointly by Stagecoach, Brighton and Hove, and Maidstone and District operates hourly between Tunbridge Wells, Uckfield, Lewes and Brighton and passes along the A26.
The Spa valley platforms have toilets but these will closed when the line is not in operation. There is a pub near the station which closes during afternoons.
The light is usually best for trains entering the station from the north, heading towards Uckfield. The station building are particularly worth photographing after the Spa Valley restoration of them.
