Road directions
Ruabon station is located to the west of the road through the village, at the south near the junction between the A483, from Chester and the A5, and the A539 from Llangollen.
Parking
There is plenty of room to park at the station.
Public transport
There are frequent bus services between Wrexham, Ruabon and Llangollen which pass the end of the lane to the station, in addition to the train service.
Amenities
There are two pubs within a short walk of the station. Turn left at the end of the road from the station onto the main road. The first is on the left at a lower level and is closed most afternoons, but serves good real ale, the second further north on the road is open longer.

Photographic notes
In summer the location of the station is reasonably scenic due to the number of trees, though the curve of the line isn't usually quite right. The light is normally best for south-bound trains from the footbridge, though the bridge further north can get in the way. The best view is of a train entering the station from the south, though this will be best on a dull day due to the position of the sun.
