Road directions
From the M56, Junction 11:
Take the A56 north towards Warrington. The road is dual-carriageway for about 1 mile. Turn left just before you reach the first roundabout towards Daresbury Laboratory. (NOTE: You may soon have to continue to the roundabout, turn left onto the A558, then turn left again at a new roundabout to return you to this route). Follow this lane past the laboratory on the left and over the Chester line then under the WCML. At the end turn right under the A558 and continue along this road back over the WCML and at a sharp right hand turn, back over the Chester line. At the next junction, there is a lane on the left over the bridge.
Parking
There is room to park a car next to or on the Bus Stop just beyond the junction, or on the other side of the road, though there is a blind bend so you will need to face the other way to park on this side.
Public transport
Halton Transport service 62 runs hourly from Warrington to Runcorn then Widnes and passes the road junction.
Amenities
The nearest pub is near where the road crosses the Chester line further south.
Railway Gen Group
North West Gen
Photographic notes
The light here is best for a morning shot of a train heading away from Warrington towards Chester. The bridge over the WCML is nearby but due to the Catenary, photographs here are not as good.
