Take the A4 towards Hungerford from Newbury and follow the road for approximately 6 miles. You will come to a crossroads with Kintbury signposted to your left. If coming from the Hungerford direction, drive for approximately 3 miles to the same crossroads.
The station has a small car-park, and there is a British Waterways free car park next to the railway / canal.
Thames Trains run a half-hourly service from Reading to Bedwyn. There are no buses.
There are toilets in the British Waterways car park - although these may be locked. There is also a pub just across the canal from the car park. The main town is 1 minutes drive / 5 minutes walk from the station and has a local store and 2 more pubs.
The sun appears to be practically overhead most of the day, as the line runs roughly east-west.
