Colton Junction (location A) is accessed directly from the unclassified road from the westbound A64 (Signposted Colton & Appleby Roebuck)
Location B is on the connecting road between Colton and Bolton Percy. This is a public bridleway and an access road for a railway works
Location C is on an unclassified road from Tadcaster (A659) to Bolton Percy.
Road side parking at the location, being a popular location it can sometimes get crowded.
Services on the nearby A64.
All locations are road bridges over the railway and afford some interesting
views.
At Colton Junction (A) the East Coast Main Line continues south and the York to
Church Fenton along the Normanton line, which diverges in a westerly direction,
to destinations such as Leeds, Ferrybridge, Knottingley, Castleford, Sheffield.
Locations B & C only afford views of the line to Church Fenton.
There are numerous other over bridges for the ECML in the area
