Road directions
The best directions are to the Central retail park, which is well signposted form all directions. This is located just off Grahams road. If coming in from the Grangemouth direction, at the second set of traffic lights, after the college, you will see a black sign, showing the direction lorries should take for the central retail park. Follow this route. If you are coming from other directions, the central retail park is signposted. From the west, follow the ring road past Morrisons. Behar will be on your left. At the roundabout, next to the post office, turn left, and you will see the retail park. If heading from the north, follow grahams road. Once in the central retail park, park near to Tescos. Leave your car there, and head past the front of Tescos, and up by the back of Brantano footwear, and onto the road. Cross the road, and then head down the ramp, onto Falkirk Grahamston station.
Parking
The station car park is busy, but there is ample parking in the Central retail park, or Morrisons supermarket, both of which are no more than a couple of minutes walk away.
Public transport
First ScotRail Trains run from Edinburgh to Stirling and Dunblane every 30 mniutes during the day, hourly evenings and Sundays. In addition, there is an hourly service during the day from this station to Glasgow Queen Street, via Cumbernauld. First Edinburgh provides the main bus services.
In addition, Stagecoach in fife provides a service from Dunfermline to Falkirk 3 times a day, though not on Sundays. The service number is 28.
Amenities
There are station toilets, though you need to have a ticket to use them. However, there are toilets in Tescos at the Central Retail Park, and in Morrisons, which is on Brockville Park. Both these supermarkets have cafes. There are plenty of other facilities in Falkirk Town Centre, which is a very short walk away.
Accommodation
The tourist information office is across the road from the station, and is well signposted. They will be able to advise.
Trains will be going slowly, due to a speed restriction. The station is also on a east-west axis, and is in a slight cutting, which can make for problems with sunlight at certain times of the day. If you are making a video, remember that this station is in the town centre, and as such, there will be traffic noise.
