Road directions
From the M9 Junction 5:
Head south from the junction on to Salmon Inn Road and continue along this road till you reach the major junction. Here turn right onto Station Raod and the station is on you right.

Station car park.
Public transport
Four trains an hour from Edinburgh Waverley taking about 25minutes, or two trains an hour from Glasgow Queen Street taking about 24minutes.
Amenities
Turn right outside station, about 60 yards further along the road is a small grocers and a bank.

Photographic notes
There is a good view in both directions here. Looking east the track sweeps round in a curve to your left (when facing it) with a nice cant. To the west the line comes under a stone bridge before entering the station.
Non-stop trains heading to and from Glasgow are doing about 80mph in either direction - the line is quite fast here. MGRs will be accelerating through the station as they will have come from the Falkirk Grahmston direction where the line speed approaching the junction is a bit lower (about 40~50mph).
