A new mobile site has been ceated. Whilst this page will remain you may find
Trainspots mobile better suited to a smart phone.
From the A30 turn onto the B3311 heading towards the city centre and railway station, this becomes Chyandor Cliff where the location is found.
You may be able to park in one of the side roads otherwise you need to keep going along the road and turn left past the station here you will find a number of car parks.
All trains stop at Penzance, being a terminus!, although only the Wessex services serve some of the smaller stations.
First operate a number of buses
to the main bus station next to the railway station from where it is a very short walk.
If you continue along the road it becomes Market Jew Street which is the main shopping street and has chips shops, takeaways and public toilets. These are open later/Sundays during the 'tourist season'.
There are dozens of Bed and Breakfasts and Hotels in the nearby area.
The best shot is from the road (oddly called Chyandor Cliff) on the north side of the station that looks down onto the terminus. The road is fairly busy and the footpath is well used. You are almost in the city centre.
You can always check the weather on the Penzance Webcam!
