From Bedford take the A428 until you reach Bromham Road on your right just after a roundabout. Take this road until you cross over the river and come to a right turn into Village Road, follow this road and it turns sharp left, just after the turn is Lower Farm Road, follow this to the end, the gate will be closed and you can walk onto the bridge.
Leave your car by the gate at the end of Lower Farm Road, there are no people around and you can see your car from the bridge.
Bus X2 runs from Bedford to Bromham village and you could walk it from there.
The nearby village of Bromham has a few amenities to offer otherwise there is Bedford.
You can shoot both directions and northbound trains look especially good in the afternoons.
The nearby A6 'Paula Radcliffe Way' can produce a little noise when filming but traffic is really light and it should not spoil any filming.
A high vertical bar fencing now obscures the view looking North (fig 1), and trying to video through the gaps isn't easy as the fencing is mounted away from the edge of the road..
The view south, currently, remains as per fig 1.
