Take the A46 north from Leicester and turn left just north of Syston (signposted A607). Soon after leaving the A46 there is a roundabout, turn right here and follow the road to the next roundabout where you need to continue straight on. The roadbridge is reached after approx 800 yards.

Park on the grass verge on the left near to the top of the bridge.

Arriva services 5/5A operate every 10 minutes from Leicester Bus Station. Service 5, every 20 minutes, operates into the estate at East Goscote, service 5A does not go into the estate but continues along the road to Rearsby.

None in the immediate area. The nearest shops are in Syston or East Goscote.

Still Photography Notes:
The line here runs south west to north east, so gets sun on the nose of eastbound trains in the morning until approx 10am. Although the sun does not quite get on the nose in the evening, it is possible to get a nice shot of eastbound trains on a summers evening from the north side of the line with the sun pretty much side on to the train. There is no shot from this bridge looking east as it is totally overgrown.

Video Photography Notes:
Eastbound trains are normally powering here as they are regaining speed after slowing for Syston Junction. Good zoom sequencies can be filmed here though it is not possible to do pan shots from the bridge. Any video footage taken from this bridge is likely to suffer with road noise.

Special Note:
For any train taking the Peterborough line at Syston Junction, it is possible to chase the train to this bridge from Cossington, thus enabling two shots to be taken.
