Road directions
From Market Harborough, take the A6 towards Leicester. This road goes through the village of Kibworth Harcourt. As you near the end of the village (There will be a church on your right) you need to turn left towards Wistow. Keep on this road until you reach the railway bridge.
Parking
You will have to park on the grass verges here, but take care when doing so. There is also some large field entrances further along the lane, these should be good to use if you take care not to block them.
Amenities
There is nothing at the location.

Photographic notes
Shots can be had at the other bridge to the east, but the trees are quite tall and shadows can be a menace. However, if it is overcast, it may be worth trying there for a little variety.
Good shots can be obtained from both sides of the bridge here. If the light is good, shots of southbound workings can be had until the early afternoon, after which, the sun becomes 'right' for those northbound workings.
As previously mentioned, road noise may make this location unsuitable for video.

Update 09-09-07
The well known location at Kibworth Harcourt now has building work in the background of the northbound shot. This is not the field immediately behind the shot, it is the one on the small hill in the background on the east side of the line. At the moment it is a bit of a mess (though it is fairly distant and doesn't dominate the shot). When completed, it will mean that there is a load of houses on the horizon of the shot. It won't be disastorous and won't ruin the shot, but it will be a bit of a mess for a while during construction.
