From the Tollbar roundabout at the southern end of Coventry, head towards Daventry on the A45, but don`t go too far! You should notice a petrol station on your left. You need to take the first turning after this which takes you down Brandon Lane. Continue on this road. Once you have crossed the railway, look for a right hand turn to the golf club a few hundred yards ahead. Pull in here and park.
Walk back to the main road and continue just a few yards further down the road, and you will notice a gateway from where you can get a shot of the railway.

Park as above. As far as I`m aware, this car park is not exclusive to the golfers.

There is a fish and chip shop, a 'Spar' and a couple of pubs in nearby Wolston.

Midlands Gen

Shots are very limited at this location which is only good for west bound trains travelling towards Birmingham.
Please also note that this is not a suitable location when it is a sunny day, as apart from a late summer evening, the sun will not be kind here.
So, it`s only recommended on an overcast day or if you want a west bound shot from 6pm or later on a sunny summer evening.
A full length Pendolino can 'just' be fitted into view if you get closer to the railway than from the location these shots were taken.
