Road directions
From Rugby, take the A428 towards Coventry. You will pass the cement works on your right. Keep going until you have passed the village of Long Lawford. You should soon notice the railway line running parallel with the road to your right. The next village is Church Lawford, but you need to make a right hand turn before you reach the village. This turning is shortly before the road alters direction and goes under the railway, and is directly opposite Mount Pleasant. AS you make this turn, you should see a bridge carrying the railway line directly in front of you, and a small works plant to your left.
Parking
You can park on the right, just opposite the works plant. There are enough spaces here for a several cars.
Amenities
Nothing here, but nearby Long Lawford has a good Co-Op shop, and a couple of pubs. There is also a very good pub in Church Lawford, 'The Old Smithy' If you go further down into the village, towards Kings Newnham, you will find a Wyevale garden centre on the left. This has a cafe which makes fresh sandwiches etc. Snacks can also be purchased from the shop.
To the right of the car park is a field from which you can get your shots. The line here runs pretty much East-West, so lighting isn`t normally a problem. The noise from the A428 (Coventry Road) does not make this an ideal location for filming.
