Road directions
From the M1, Junction 13: Head west on the A421. This road runs parallel with the motorway for some distance. Stick to this road until you reach a large roundabout. Take the 3rd exit into 'Standing Way'. Keep going, straight over the next 6 roundabouts. Simply keep going on the A421! The 7th roundabout will have exits (both to the left and right) down Grafton Street. However, go straight across! Just ahead on the left you should notice a slip round that leads to an industriual area. Turn down here, and park safely at the side of the road. Walk back upto the A421, and turn left. You should notice the bridge that spans the railway. Cross over the bridge, and take ther footpath on the left. As the footpath bears to the right, you will notice the fence just ahead. This is the location.
Parking
As described above.
Amenities
There are plenty of shops in nearby Bletchley, and even more in Milton Keynes!
Photos can only be had of northbound workings here. However, please note: For shots of trains on the slow lines, cables from the overhead masts do 'cut-into' the trains somewhat. Trains on the fast lines fair better, although these are slightly obscured by lineside vegetation, one particular tree, if left, will become too troublesome and very quickly. Photos can also be had from the footpath to the east of the line, as well as from the bridge which crosses the line, and in both directions, but shots here would be very cluttered by the overhead wires etc.
