Location notes
A country location, on the Reading to Newbury line. Aldermaston is a small station with a service from Reading to Newbury every hour.
Railway type and traffic
First Great Western operated Thames Turbos, HSTs on the Plymouth/Penzance routes and the occasional Adelante. There is also a reasonable amount of freight traffic on the route with Class 59s and Class 66s regular performers.
Environment
It is a small station in the country, never had any problems myself, it is well lit and there are never that many people at the station.
Road directions
On the A4 from Theale towards Newbury, it is a signposted turn off.

Photographic notes
The light is reasonable, the sun does not appear to cause a problem with photos or filming. There is a station footbridge to shoot from, there is also a quiet road bridge nearby as well so there are plenty of different angles to be had.
