Road directions
From the M2 Junction 2:
Head towards Cuxton on the A228, the station is signposted to your left then go down Station Road.
Parking
The road leading to the station, Station Road, is probably the best place to park.
Public transport
Arriva routes 151 and 703 are the only ones that go near the station, the 703 does not run very frequently and it runs from Maidstone so if you are going from there get the train from Maidstone West instead. The 151 is a one an hour service from Chatham bus station to Malling but as mentioned earlier the best way to get to Cuxton is by train.
Amenities
Cuxton is a quite village, mostly houses. The nearest shop is at the petrol station which is just down the road. There are no toilets in the area unfortunately.
Railway Gen Group
South East Gen
Photographic notes
The line goes from North East to South West on this part of the line so the sun should not be a problem. It is advised not to take pics from the 'Maidstone side' of the up platform as there are many signs that can block the view.
For videos, the noise from the traffic on both the A228 and the M2 can pose a problem.
