All platforms provide good views of passing trains, platforms 1 and 2 are the best, as platform 3 are normally full of people heading to the Kent coast. The footbridge is best but it has wired fencing but you can poke your camera. The light is good all day but in early mornings (especially in winter) eastern views can be ruined by the morning sun but after 10:00 it should be fine. The noise from the nearby roads can pose a problem for people who are making videos.
