From the A2 turn off at the High street (signposted Rochester High Street) and go down the High Street until you see the signs for the station.
There is a car park outside the station and it is fully secure.
There are a few local buses which go near the station but the route 145 is the best one to get as it goes outside the station.
The station has got toilets which do close after 5pm. There are a few fish and chip shops around and the Pentagon shopping centre in Chatham is only a 10 minute walk away (or a quick 5 min drive).
The nearest hotel is the King Charles hotel in Brompton, from Chatham get on either of the routes 101, 136, 126, 113 and 182 which take you outside the hotel.
Light is good all day, the Kent bound platform is best for taking pictures of the trains, the London bound platform is not as good as it can get packed and the platform buildings get in the way.
For those who want to do videos it is a good location to do a few videos as the nearby busy road is 500 yards from the station so you wont get any noise from the cars.
