From the B1002 turn into Church Lane and continue until you reach the Level Crossing.
You can leave your car right by the crossing, near the vicarage. Just park considerately.
Not easy! You can get a bus along the B1002 but would then have a bit of a trek along Church Lane.
Ingatestone would be the nearest place to find supplies.
Chelmsford would be best place near by for this.
You can shoot both ways, lovely and quiet so no problems if you want to film. Even at night the crossing is lit very well! The gates spend more time down than up!
