From the A46 take the A52 towards Nottingham. Then in about 1/2 a mile there is a turning on the right, shortly after the 50mph signs, signed to Shelford. This is Oatford Lane . A short distance up the lane is a lay by on the right. Park here and continue on foor up the lane to the bridge.
Watch out for the speed cameras on this route.
There is a small layby to the south of the location.

The line runs roughly north east to south west. There are clean views in both directions.
