From the M1, Junction 25:
Follow the A52 eastbound all the way around Nottingham towards Nottingham Airport and the National Watersports centre. When the A52 comes to Gamston take the first exit from the roundabout, the A6011, and follow this road into Nottingham. When you reach the Meadow Lane T junction turn right and follow the A612. At the second roundabout, the first exit will take you up Racecourse Road and then left into Colwick Road for the preferred parking, or straight on and the location will be on your left.

There is parking available on Colwick Road. This is a dead end road and is about 2 minutes walk from the location.

There is a regular bus service to and from Nottingham town centre. Numbers 44 and 45 on the Nottingham City Transport Red Line route with a bus stop a few minutes walk away

The line runs east to west here infront of a large vertical embankment. Light at this location will favour mid day onwards westbound workings.
The A612 may cause noise problems for videographers.
The vegitation, cleared in 2009, is now beginning to grow back to a height that will affect shots particually in the summer. Steps would be handy (in 2011) for an extra bit of height.
