Road directions
From the M5, Junction 5:
Take the minor road, Stoke Lane then Shaw Lane, for Stoke Works Village. This actually leads off the bottom of the slip road of the M5 southbound. Approximately 100 yards after passing the village sign, there is a small layby on your right. A footpath almost opposite this layby leads to the footbridge 50 yards away.
Parking
The lay by opposite the footpath is for local residents. If this is full, there is ample space on the road itself further on.Your car will be perfectly safe in the area.
Public transport
There is a limited bus service through the village from Droitwich or Bromsgrove.
Amenities
There are no toilets. There are two pubs-' The Boat and Railway' and 'The Bowling Green' - both about a quarter of a mile away. The nearest shop is about a mile and a half away in the next village of Stoke Prior.

Photographic notes
Since network rail tree clearance, photography can be carried out all day, however the sun will be directly down the track for a couple of hours around 12:00 to 14:00. Unobstructed shots can be obtained from both sides of the bridge in both directions. It is very quiet for videoing-normally only birdsong to accompany the sound of the trains. Althought occasionally if you are unlucky with the wind, you may pick up the noise from the M5, but it is never too intrusive.
