From Yeovil follow the signs for Yeovil Junction Station. As you approach the turning for Yeovil Junction carry on past and under the railway bridge. Then take the first left, which is just after a commercial vehicle sales garage. Follow this road, under another railway bridge (Bristol to Weymouth Line) until you come across a t-junction which has a triangle patch of grass in the middle, turn left towards Bradford Abbas. Take the next first left into the village, then the first right. The bridge will be right in front of you on this road.
As you take the last right turn on the road over the bridge, between the junction and the bridge there is a street on the left which leads to residential housing. You can easily park anywhere on this street on the side of the road.
From Yeovil Junction Station there is a very infrequent bus which only has 2 buses a day each way Monday to Friday only leaving Yeovil Junction at 09:10 and 13:07 and leaving Bradford Abbas 10:38 and 14:34 on
South West Coaches Service No.74. From Yeovil Junction there is a half hourly South West Coaches Service No.68 to and from Yeovil Bus Station.
There are no toilet facilities in the area. There is a local post office and newsagent just round the corner back into Bradford Abbas from the bridge.
There are no hotels or Bed & Breakfasts in Bradford Abbas. The nearest would be in either Yeovil or Sherborne.
This location is good for down trains from Sherborne but great for up trains from Yeovil Junction. Looking towards Yeovil Junction you have a 3 quarter mile straight stretch of track but during sunset as the sun sets in this direction it can make for tricky lighting.
