From the A1 junction with the A603 take the turn into Sandy. Follow the road and at the next roundabout take exit number three (right turn) and follow this along till you reach the station which will be on your right.
There is a station car park and street parking close by.
There is a small cafe on the station and the high street has a number of shops.
There is a motorway lodge on the A1.
The station is on a fast section of the East Coast Main Line.
Directly to the south the line curves into the station from a long straight. The track then curves gently through the station and continues this curve northwards with a noticeable cant through the station. There is little around to cast major shadows.
