Follow the A169 into Pickering village. At the roundabout take the first exit and follow this road to the traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn right and continue along this road until you reach the station, which will be on your left.
Being a national park there are lots of tourist facilities in the towns and villages but some locations are remote areas of moor land.
Pickering Station is the southern terminus of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. There is a run round / locomotive release at the south end of the platforms. The overbridge also provies a good view of arriving trains. The level crossing is a very close location.
