Leave the A507 and head into Arlesey. On entering the village take the first left into House Lane and at the end of House Lane bear left into High Street. Keep heading south into the village, take Station Road and you will arrive at the footbridge.
You should be able to leave your car at the bottom of the footbridge, where there is parking for about 4 cars.
FCC services to Arlesey or Stagecoach bus from Hitchin or Arlesey station to nearby bus stops.
Arlesey village has a couple of small local stores.
Stevenage is nearby, there is also a service station nearby on the A1 at Baldock.
Line runs straight for a fair distance in each direction, virtually north/south. Excellent view to the south from the bridge, however to the north is slightly obstructed by nearby road bridge.
Up (southbound) side steps face south, Down (northbound) side face north.
