Coming from Llandudno Junction follow the A546 directly to the location.
There is no parking on the road at the location, but there are places to park just off the roundabout.
Get the train to Llandudno then walk out of the station, turn right and then when you reach Builder Street, turn right. Continue down this road for about a mile. You will then arrive at a roundabout. Turn right at this roundabout and you will arrive on Maesdu Bridge.
There are no amenities at the location, but there is a shopping area outside the station.
The line is running in a northerly direction so lighting will never be 'on the nose' outside of the extreme hours in the summer. But the open nature of the location should provide for a more panoramic shot. The area is coastal and very open so expect the possibility of wind.
