No parking available next to the location however the park and ride south is about half a mile away.
First run services to the Park and ride which is the closest bus stop to the area. Services X4 as well as 55/56 will pass here
Closest toilets are at the Miller and Carter steakhouse, next to the park and ride, toilets and good food are also here.
Closest accommodation is the hotels over in Lakeside a couple miles away.
The light is best in the morning and is on the correct side for photographing trains. As you get closer to the evening the sun moves across to the less accessible side of the bridge. Trains can be photographed on both sides of the Great Yorkshire way bridge in both directions. For southbound workings you sre best on the north side embankment of the bridge whereas for northbound trains you are better off going to the river bridge to the south of the Great Yorkshire Way bridge.There is no light at night so only daytime shots available.
