Any bus from the town center to the Lakeside Shopping Village will take you to within walking distance of the location
McDonalds, Pizza Hut and a Beefeater at the Lakeside Shopping Village.
There is a nearby Travel lodge.
The ECML and surrounding yards run roughly north west /south east. Best angle is looking south from the bridge, as most GNER services have the loco on the north end. Clearer shots looking south off the spur lines as well due to less OHL.
Being a main road into Doncaster the location isn't suitable for videographes as it is plagued with traffic noise.
