Getting to Inverness by car from the South & East follow the B865 and signs for City Centre and you will find the station easily as it is well signposted.
There are various Car Parks in the City Centre such as the Eastgate Centre, Safeways and the Station Car Park which is round behind the Bus Station. Follow signs for Bus Station and it is on your righthand side 100 yrds past TK MAX.
Inverness has got a good transport with buses running right across the north of Scotland and also down to Glasgow/Edinburgh/Aberdeen and also the railway has got good connections to the south to Edinburgh/Glasgow and further on down to England with the Highland Chieftan and Sleepers to London.
In the station there is a Cafe, Berties Bar, WH Smiths & toilets. The Eastgate shopping centre next to the railway also it connects Morrisons.
The nearest Chip Shop is The Kabab House which is located on the High Street across from the Eastgate Shopping Centre. There is a Chinese Takeaway next door to the Kabab House.
The nearest hotel is The
Royal Highland Hotel which is the former Station Hotel.
