Road directions
The B4245 from St Pierre golf club near Chepstow takes you through Caldicot then Rogiet. Signs direct you off to the left to the Severn Tunnel Junction Station.
Parking
There is a pay and display station car park. It does have one security camera. You are looking over the station and car park from the road overbridge.
Public transport
The station also now has improved connections with Bristol, Gloucester and Newport. Trains running from Gloucester to Newport (Gwent) stop, but the service is infrequent. There is also, probably, a bus service but it will be infrequent.
Amenities
The station has a toilet facilities and a booking office run by volunteers. But these have limited opening times. There is also a filling station, on the main road in Rogiet, about one mile away, with basic facilities.
The trees in the area below the bridge have grown thereby restricting the views west somewhat. The station itself has had upgrades and now has larger modern glass shelters. Also the station now has 28 security cameras! The junction itself has been remodelled slightly so that the lines split west of the station instead of east of the station as previously. An extra platform has been brought back into use for the South Wales - Bristol traffic. Given the lines east to west direction west bound will be backlit in the morning and eastbound in the afternoon. There is plenty of notice of approaching trains in either direction due to the open nature of the land around the station.
