Road directions
From the M4, Junction 23A: Follow the signs for Magor, when you get to Magor keep following the road for around a mile and a half, you will see the railway and footbridge on your right hand side.
Parking
There is a small area next to a vets surgery where you can park, but do not block access to the gate, which is used by track gangs when working on the track.
Public transport
From Newport Bus Station, catch a X14 Newport-Bristol bus or 74 Newport-Chepstow service alighting in Undy, the bus stops on the opposite side of the road to the footbridge.
Amenities
There are no toilets close by, there is a shop which is less than 10 minutes away on foot.
Accommodation
There are a few Bed and Breakfasts in the Newport area.
The line runs east to west, but is the bottom of a curve. This should provide good light for east bound workings in the morning and west bound workings in the afternoon.
