Road directions
From Settle take the B6480, heading towards Langcliffe and Helwith Bridge, this road passes under The Long Drag. Take the first turning on the right, the road sign indicates that the road is a dead-end. Follow this road as it climbs and there are a number of vantage points.
Parking
There are a number of places to park a car on the grass verge, off the narrow road.
Public transport
Train: Take the train to Settle (approx every 2 hours from Leeds and Carlisle), then walking from the station through the town and then as per the road directions (Maybe a 40-50 minute walk).
Bus: Pennine service 580 every hour from Skipton to Settle Market Place or Lancashire subsidised service B10 approx every 90 minutes from Clitheroe via Slaidburn. Again, follow road directions from Settle Market Place (perhaps 20-30 minute walk).
