From the M6, Junction 27:
Follow signs to Ormskirk, and follow the signs to the Abbey Farm Caravan Park. Turn right into the caravan park and continue to where it says new arrivals.

There is a car park on the camp site, check with the site owner for permission to park there.

No station is near by nor is a bus service. 2 1/2 miles down the road is a bus stop with frequent services to and from Liverpool.

There is a toilet block with showers on the camp site. The shop sells milk, eggs, etc... A pub is within walking distance (40 minutes).

There is a camp site 200 yards away with accomodation for tents, caravans and motorhomes.

North West Gen

No specific tips, however I would sit on top of the gate for a really good photo. The traffic runs at about 60mph so a fast shutter speed is reccomended.
