The scrapyard is in Armer Street, close to Rotherham United FC ground, which is well signposted. The main road past the football ground is dual carriageway. There is a slip road off the southbound carriageway. Follow this round and there is a left turn where the road bends to the right. Go down here and follow the road around the back. There are several signs to the yard. Follow the wall round to the left and the railway scrapyard is around the back.
Cars can be parked close to the wall outside the scrapyard.
None on site, the closest are in the town centre or near the Football ground.
Due to the never-to-be-repeated nature of the subjects I tend to take pictures from every angle possible. However sometimes there are just too many locomotives to get a good picture of them all.
