Road directions
From Northampton, head west on the A45. You will come across a roundabout just before you get to a Total petrol station. Turn left here, and drive through Kislingbury. You will then arrive at Bugbrooke.
Keep on driving through the village. Once you have passed all the houses of Camp Hill, you need to take a right hand turn. At the top of this hill, you pass over the canal, then the railway line.
Parking
You can either park near the canal (if there are no any anglers parked) or to the right hand side past the railway bridge. 4-5 cars can be safely parked here.
Public transport
Stagecoach service D3 operates hourly from the bridge outside Northampton Railway Station to Bugbrooke Village. It enters the village from the north and turns right in the village where you will need to get off to walk to the location.
Amenities
No amenities at the location, although there is a nice shop in the high street where refreshments can be purchased. The Bakers Arms offers a quiet drink, while the Five Bells opposite the church sells good pub-grub.

Photographic notes
Shots can be taken from both sides of the bridge, although shooting west at the southbound trains is preferred here.
From this location, you will be able to see a footbridge which you can easily get to. Just a short walk down the canal side will lead you there.
