Road directions
From Coleshill (Just off the M6) take the B4117 passing through Gilson (or alternatively take the the B4117 from further up the A446) both routes will lead you directly to Water Orton. Head through the busy village centre, and you will see the station to your right. Turn here so the satation building is on your left, then right immediately after crossing the bridge. Follow this road (Marsh Lane) until you notice a lake/reservoir on the left hand side. Pull over here, just before the cottages on the right. Alternatively, access can be gained from the residential area to the south of the lines, via Salisbury Drive.
Parking
You can park in the car park on the grass verge at the side of the road, or in the residential area if prefered.
Public transport
There are plenty of buses operating in the area, and many can be observed stopping near the station frequently. These are mainly operated by West Midlands Travel.
Amenities
There is a sandwich shop which closes at 16:00 and a very nice fish and chip shop in the village. There is a public loo next to the station carpark which you have to pay 30p to use.

Photographic notes
Not the best place for video here, as the nearby M42 is a constant source of noise.
Shadows from the trees can be troublesome in low sun on the Nuneaton line.
