Exit the A3 onto the B2070 to Petersfield. From the north turn right at the roundabout at the end of the slip-road, from the south take the road under the A3 and go straight on at the roundabout.
The road is signposted to Buriton, the bridge is a couple of hundred yards ahead with a lay by on the right.
You can park in the lay by just before the bridge.
Stagecoach Number 38 bus,
(Timetable PDF), runs from Portsmouth/Havant to Petersfield and stops on the B2070 just before the roundabout.
No amenities in the local area, if you head back to the roundabout and turn right you can follow the road into the large town of Petersfield. Alternatively if you continue to the east the village of Buriton is about a mile away.
The line here is aligned roughly north - south, shots are possible either way and from either side of the line, but the line is on a sharp bend meaning that morning shots are on the inside of the curve, so you'll loose the back of the longer trains. For this reason a wide'ish angle lens is recommended, you also need to be on your toes as you get very little warning of approaching trains.
Due to the road noise and limited warning of approaching trains (and lack of space on the bridge for a tripod!) video would not necessarily be good at this location.
