From Northampton, head out towards Leicester on the A5199 (Welford Road) As you get to the end of the White Hills estate, you will notice the 'North Star' and then the 'Windmill' pub on your right. You need to look for a left hand turn into 'Leyland Drive' Follow this road down and take a right into 'Grasscroft' which will bring you to 'Kentstone Close' From this close, there are three access points to the public footpath which leads to the railway.
Park in Kentstone close, but please do be considerate to the local residents.
There is the previously mentioned 'Windmill' pub nearby, and there are also a few local shops in nearby Leyland Drive, including a Fish and Chips shop, only about a minutes drive away.
Shots can be had in both directions, and from both sides of the line. This location would also be highly suitable for video, and trains leaving Northampton can be seen on the curve for quite some distance, and there is also a long straight in the other direction.
